What makes this thing tick

I am putting this blog here away from my home site because I want that to always be a kid-safe internet zone and I would not want to inhibit any discussion by having it there. So I have it here in an area that is for grown ups.

My experiences with the justice system causes me to have little faith in their interest in justice. They seem to be pre-occupied with how much money they can rake in by enforcing the laws and not dealing out justice. I do not think I am alone in seeing it this way, and I want to connect with as many people who are concerned about preserving the American justice system as I can. Every citizen should be equal under the law, not just those who can afford a lot of money to participate.

While I need a lot of help, I don't want to be just another messed over woman on the internet crying a sad story and begging for anyone to help me. I want to be able to help others and enable others to all help each other. That is going to be the biggest factor in what makes this thing tick - all of us helping each other and helping our country be a better place that practices the ideals set in motion by our founding fathers.
